“All this must stop quickly”: these parents who come to police in front of high schools

After two weeks of vacation, the high school movement has changed its face. The blockages are now residual on a national scale (around forty high schools, or 1% of the total) according to the Minister of Education, but are concentrated in urban centers such as Paris, Marseille, Rennes, Toulouse or Créteil. A polarization is setting in between the diehards, who consider the executive measures insufficient, and those who demand a return to normal, including among adults. Some parent volunteers, like at the Ampère high school in Lyon, are mobilizing to protect students and prevent excesses.
