Convictions for the murder of Federico Martin Aramburu: 26 and 19 years in prison for Le Priol and Bouvier

They both admitted to the shooting. They both admitted their responsibility in the death of Federico Martin Aramburu. But for three weeks, Loïk Le Priol, 32, and Romain Bouvier, 35, refused to acknowledge what the prosecution accused them of most seriously: having decided to kill. It is around this often tenuous border between homicidal intent and the act that their trial took place before the Paris Assize Court. This Friday, September 25, the jurors crossed this border in the direction of the defense by condemning the two men, after a deliberation of almost twelve hours, to respectively 26 and 19 years of criminal imprisonment for murder and attempted murder, without considering premeditation.
