David Almeida disputes government of Amazonas with job creation proposals

David Almeida is running for government through the “Pra Cima, Amazonas” coalition, formed by Avante, Solidariedade, PRD, PDT, DC and Agir. The candidate is a former mayor of Manaus, served three terms as a state deputy and temporarily took over the Government of Amazonas in 2017.

Among the proposals presented by David is the use of investments and public works to expand job opportunities in Amazonas. He cited the construction of schools, Basic Health Units (UBSs) and paving works as actions that, according to him, can generate jobs and income.

The candidate's agenda began in the morning, with participation in the TV station's debate, at 9:45 am. At 5pm, David Almeida took part in a walk in the Manoa neighborhood, in the North Zone of Manaus. In the evening, at 8pm, a meeting with leaders is planned at Tarumã-Açu.

The electoral campaign began on August 16 across the country. Candidates can now advertise on the streets and on the internet. On TV and radio, advertising began on August 28th. The first round of elections will be on October 4th.
