Prostitution housewife suspected of creating debts of R$10,000 to confine employees is arrested in SC

Her partner, co-owner of the establishment, is on the run. The woman is being investigated for the crimes of being reduced to a condition similar to that of a slave, maintaining a house of prostitution and ruffianism.

A woman was arrested this Thursday (10), in Navegantes (SC). She is suspected of keeping employees under conditions similar to slavery in a prostitution house.

The woman managed the place alone because her partner, Adelar Antônio Goldoni, is on the run. He was sentenced to almost 24 years in prison.

Owners charged for the use of rooms and imposed arbitrary fines to generate unrealistic debt.

The case was discovered after the Guardianship Council and Creas found the daughters of 3 employees there.

A woman suspected of maintaining a house of prostitution and subjecting employees to conditions similar to slavery was arrested by the Civil Police this Thursday morning (10) in Navegantes, on the North Coast of Santa Catarina.

Her partner and co-owner of the establishment, Adelar Antônio Goldoni, is on the run. He has a sentence of almost 24 years in prison for torture, rape and keeping a house of prostitution.

🔎 According to Article 229 of the Penal Code, it is a crime to "maintain, on one's own account or on behalf of a third party, an establishment in which sexual exploitation occurs, whether or not there is an intention of profit or direct mediation by the owner or manager".

The investigation showed that the couple charged for the use of the rooms and deducted amounts related to food and drinks from the call girls' earnings.

The suspects also charged abusive fines in case of "absences", such as not cleaning the rooms or leaving the establishment with customers.

With these charges, some women ended up accumulating debts of up to R$10,000 and were prevented from leaving their house, located on the banks of BR-470, while they had these debts.

The police investigation was opened on July 6, 2026. According to the corporation, the scheme worked through the confinement of the victims.

The action was coordinated by the Navegantes Police Station, with support from the Balneário Piçarras Police Station and the Itajaí Drug Enforcement Police Station.

Three search and seizure warrants were also executed.

Crime was discovered by the Guardianship Council

The crime was discovered after the Guardianship Council and the Specialized Reference Center for Social Assistance (Creas) learned of the presence of children, daughters of three employees, at the site.

To rescue the children and mothers without alerting the suspects, the teams used a "cover story." After removing the three victims, the agencies informed the police about the case.

During the operation this Thursday, the administrator was arrested and taken to the Itajaí Prison, where she remains at the disposal of the Justice Department. She is being investigated for the crimes of reducing her to a condition similar to that of a slave, maintaining a house of prostitution and ruffianism.
