HSE Associate Professor Dmitry Trushin was put on the wanted list for driving a student to suicide, but she herself defends him. Baza writes about this.

According to the publication, four years ago, a teacher noticed mental problems in student Sophia, who complained about her parents not wanting to treat her. Trushin took an active part in the girl’s fate: he found a doctor, paid for treatment, constantly communicated with the student and supported her, since, according to him, he himself was once in a similar state. Sophia told him that her mother was watching her with GPS trackers, and her boyfriend Maxim was exerting psychological pressure, which is why she repeatedly tried to die and once spent two days in a coma.

The teacher was next to her every time, connected the doctors and sought hospitalization. However, the parents found out about their communication and wrote a complaint to the university, after which Trushin was fired for “immoral misconduct” and he went to work abroad. Sophia's mother filed a complaint against him with the Investigative Committee, where a criminal case was opened against the teacher.

Dozens of students stood up for Trushin, and Sofia tried to withdraw her complaint to the Higher School of Economics and convey her position to the investigation, but, according to lawyer Dmitry Dzhulay, her testimony was ignored.
