The 2026 Cultural China·Nishan World Overseas Chinese Forum was held on September 29 in Qufu, Shandong. As an important sub-forum of the Nishan World Civilization Forum, since its establishment in 2022, the forum has gone through five consecutive sessions of intensive cultivation and iterative upgrades. In 2023, the second forum will be upgraded and officially included in the "Cultural China" brand sequence, and the platform's position and influence will be greatly improved. The forum focuses on the overseas dissemination of Chinese culture, the cultivation of cultural identity of overseas Chinese, and empowering exchanges through Chinese education. It promotes exchanges and discussions from macro concepts to grassroots communication practices, and the root identity of overseas Chinese at home and abroad continues to be consolidated.
In 2024, the third forum will focus on pragmatic exchanges, focusing on topics such as "Overseas Chinese and Chinese-style modernization" and "Chinese education and exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign civilizations." More than 60 overseas Chinese leaders, overseas Chinese businessmen, experts and scholars from 25 countries and regions will be invited to participate in the forum, and a unique path will be developed to gather overseas Chinese through literature and promote cooperation through overseas Chinese.
In 2025, the fourth forum will broaden its global perspective and conduct discussions around "the cultural mission of overseas Chinese in the process of global modernization." More than 50 overseas Chinese businessmen and leaders, experts and scholars from 23 countries and regions will combine their own practice to share the practical experience of overseas Chinese in promoting exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign civilizations, and live cases of integrating Chinese cultural identity into global modernization.
In 2026, the brand energy level of the fifth forum will reach a new level. The forum is based on the contemporary mission of overseas Chinese, deeply explores the contemporary connotation of Confucianism, gives full play to the unique advantages of overseas Chinese with both Chinese cultural roots and overseas local vision, and achieves new results in jointly building the "roots, souls and dreams" of the Chinese people at home and abroad.

Over the past five years, the forum has persisted in uniting overseas Chinese through cultural infiltration, empowering development through resource docking, and transforming civilized dialogue into visible and effective exchange results.
Relying on the unique cultural resources of Qufu, the forum has created an immersive cultural experience system, carefully designed special routes such as "Searching for Roots in Confucian Holy Lands" and "Confucian Etiquette Experience", and organized overseas Chinese representatives to visit Confucius Temple, Confucius Mansion, and Nishan Holy Land to participate in classic readings, ritual and music performances, and traditional gatherings. Several new generations of Chinese Americans spoke at the scene: They set foot in the holy land of Nishan and touched the thousand-year cultural context, and truly realized the profound heritage of Chinese culture and the emotional identity of "rooted in China and soul bound to China".
Innovate the international communication path of traditional culture, build 12 Qilu Cultural Experience Centers around the world, hold Confucian thought-themed salons, carry out classic reading clubs, organize nearly 100 cultural exchange activities, and provide more than 60,000 volumes of various cultural books, constantly expanding the scope and influence of Chinese culture.
