New Fashion Institute officially debuts in Shanghai, focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence and fashion design

China News Service, Shanghai, September 27 (Reporter Chen Jing) The New Fashion College was officially unveiled in Shanghai on the 27th and will become an international, cross-integrated platform college.

With design thinking, technology application and system innovation as its core, the college focuses on artificial intelligence and fashion design, human-computer interaction, digital media and wearable technology to build an interdisciplinary innovation ecosystem that integrates industry and education; at the same time, it builds a fashion industry collaboration chain from creative sources, talent training to brand incubation and first shows.

New Fashion College is an important part of Jing’an District’s “15th Five-Year Plan” fashion consumption industry system. On the same day, Zhong Xiaoyong, Secretary of the Jing'an District Party Committee, and Pu Yapeng, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Economic and Information Commission, attended the launch ceremony of the New Fashion Institute.

According to reports, at the source level, the New Fashion College relies on the "Engineering × Management × Design" three-rotor education innovation system of Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology to carry out scientific and technological innovation and compound talent training to strengthen the source of industrial innovation; at the space level, the college promotes the functional improvement of the Suhe Bay area through the protective renewal of the joint review public house, and cooperates with national fashion brand incubators such as "Fashion Innovation World" and South China University of Science and Technology. The Jingxi Road launch system has formed a dynamic line of "Suhewan Creative Source - Innovation Platform Accelerated Incubation - Nanjing West Road Top Commercial First Exhibition Launch" to promote two-way empowerment of fashion consumption highlands and global creative sources; at the ecological level, the college will integrate the resources of international brands, technology companies and design institutions to provide integrated support for local brands in terms of talent, IP and channels.
