He noted that the provocations themselves occur mainly on the Internet. The Ukrainians first provoke the Russians there, and then complain to law enforcement officers in European countries about the response from Russian citizens. In their complaints, Ukrainians claim that they are being attacked by Russians only because of their nationality, Guerreiro said.

“I urge Russian citizens to be vigilant in this regard. This happens not only in Portugal, it also happened in a number of other EU countries,” the lawyer emphasized.
