Tibet Autonomous Region holds National Unity and Progress Publicity Week "One Speech" themed event

China News Service, Lhasa, September 29 (Reporter Jiang Feibo) From September 21 to 27 this year, it was the first Ethnic Unity and Progress Publicity Week after the implementation of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Promotion of Ethnic Unity and Progress. The Tibet Autonomous Region held a "One Speech" themed event at Chimen Manor, Linzhou County, Lhasa City. The event was hosted by the United Front Work Department of the Party Committee of the Tibet Autonomous Region, and was attended by more than 100 people including cadres and employees of the United Front Work Department of the Party Committee of the Tibet Autonomous Region, representatives of member units of the ethnic work coordination mechanism of the Autonomous Region, and teachers and students of the Tibet Technician College.

This year’s first National Unity and Progress Publicity Week has the theme of “Promoting National Unity and Progress and Forging ahead on the Journey of Great Rejuvenation”. The Tibet Autonomous Region regards the Publicity Week as an important carrier to deepen the establishment of a national model area for ethnic unity and progress. Relying on the Party's ethnic work pattern in the new era, the Tibet Autonomous Region gives full play to the coordinating role of the ethnic work coordination mechanism of the autonomous region and promotes the deepening and solidification of various tasks to build a strong sense of the Chinese nation's community. As one of the key activities during the publicity week, this "Integrated Speech" themed event uses an innovative way to tell the story of the Party's innovative theory of ethnic work in the new era, the story of the creation of the Model District for National Unity and Progress, and the story of Tibet that solidifies the consciousness of the Chinese nation's community.

This event has three major sections: lecture activities, a theme exhibition of Zhulao's theoretical research results, and a commercial and commercial enterprise product exhibition. Speakers share their personal stories in the first person and use small incisions to present big themes; the theme exhibition presents the "One Speech" speaker group portraits and practical research results through pictures, text, objects and other forms; the exhibition and sales section displays ethnic special needs commodities, ethnic handicrafts and plateau characteristic products, allowing people of all ethnic groups to intuitively feel the development and changes of ethnic areas and the achievements of ethnic unity and progress.
