Elections 2026: see how the day went for the candidates for the Government of Piauí this Tuesday (15)

Check out the campaign activities of Dr. Lúcia Santos, Elizeu Aguiar, Joel Rodrigues, Professor Gisvaldo, Rafael Fonteles and Santiago Belizário.

Candidates for the Government of Piauí focused their campaigns on Teresina this Tuesday (15).

Activities included workshops, walks and meetings with local leaders.

The first round of elections takes place on October 4th.

Candidates for the Government of Piauí focused their campaign activities this Tuesday (15) in Teresina. The agendas included participation in hearings, walks, leafleting and meetings with leaders.

The first round of elections will be held on October 4th. The second round, if necessary, is scheduled for October 25th.

See below how each candidate's campaign day went, in alphabetical order:

Dr. Lúcia Santos (PSDB)

The candidate did not provide an agenda for this Tuesday.

Elizeu Aguiar (New)

In the morning, he participated in a hearing at a radio station and produced content for social media.

In the afternoon, he took a walk in the Buenos Aires neighborhood, in the North Zone of Teresina. In the evening, he participated in a meeting with leaders in the East Zone of the capital.

Joel Rodrigues (PP)

The candidate gave an interview to Piauí TV 1, from TV Clube, this Tuesday and stated that he intends to reduce the number of state secretariats and gradually hire up to 5 thousand professionals for the security forces, if elected.

During the afternoon, he also participated in a hearing with candidates for the Government of Piauí promoted by the Brazilian Bar Association, Piauí section (OAB-PI), and made recordings for the electoral program.

In the evening, he participated in a meeting with religious leaders in the Ininga neighborhood, in the East Zone of Teresina. He then met with supporters in the North and South Zones of the capital, respectively.

Professor Gisvaldo (PSOL)

In the morning, he recorded an interview and carried out leafleting at Shopping da Cidade and Mercado Velho, in the center of Teresina.

In the afternoon, he participated in a hearing on a television station and also in a hearing promoted by OAB-PI. At night, he carried out leafleting again, this time in Praça Pedro II, in the center of Teresina.

Rafael Fonteles (PT)

The candidate was also at the hearing with candidates for the Government of Piauí promoted by OAB-PI, during the night.

Santiago Belizário (UP)

In the morning, he visited urban cleaning workers in the Southeast Zone of Teresina, took a walk on Avenida das Hortas, in the Dirceu neighborhood, and participated in a leafleting activity in front of a call center company in the region.

During the afternoon, the candidate took another walk, this time in Vila Operária, in the North Zone of the capital.
