Enver Altaylı Made a Statement from Prison Regarding the Allegations Regarding the Death of Kaşif Kozinoğlu

Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Silivri Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the suspicious death of former MİT officer Kaşif Kozinoğlu, who died in Silivri Prison in 2011, former intelligence officer and FETO convict Enver Altaylı was brought to the Silivri Courthouse from the prison where he was detained to testify as a 'suspect'.

Enver Altaylı, who testified, was arrested by the court on the charge of 'intentional incitement to murder'. Altaylı's statement at the Criminal Court of Peace was revealed.

"I AM ENCOUNTERED WITH AN AIR AS AS IF KOZİNOĞLU'S MURDERER HAS BEEN FOUND AND HIS NAME IS ENVER ALTAYLI"

Altaylı used the following statements:

"A campaign has been going on against me for weeks. I will be 83 years old in a month, and I have been in prison for 9 years. I have not escaped anywhere, but I am faced with an atmosphere by people who follow TV and newspapers as if Kaşif Kozinoğlu's murderer has been found and his name is Enver Altaylı. They took the word 'neutralization' in a text that I have denied for years and carried it to such a point that other publications are now openly titled 'dark execution plan'. It is written in the letter that 'the execution and liquidation plan was implemented step by step'. From a text in which the word 'execution' is not even mentioned, it is concluded that I literally ordered the execution of Explorer Kozinoğlu, planned his death or made him a target.

From the very first day, I did not accept the so-called letters that were said to come from my house. I said, 'It doesn't belong to me.' I say the same thing today: It does not belong to me. The state takes my phone, computer, CD, flash memory, digital materials; He must keep them as they were when he received them. In order to be able to say that Enver Altaylı put whatever is in it after months have passed, the state must first show what condition it was in when it received that material. This was not done. The first forensic copies of the digital materials were obtained not on the day of seizure, but weeks later. The fact that the copy I received later and the device of that day are compatible does not tell me anything. I ask you, 'What happened to this device while it was in your possession?'

You tell me, 'The copy you bought 1.5 months later and the device was identical at that time'. Of course it could be the same. I'm asking about 1.5 months ago. Koray Peksayar, who provided his expert opinion on this file, is not an ordinary name. The same person also reviewed my digital materials. A tampering and evidence integrity problem has been detected in terms of the digital material containing these so-called letters circulating today regarding Explorer Kozinoğlu.

I started with the words 'Dear Sir' to be sent to the leader of FETO, and then said 'This man is targeting the service members' for Explorer Kozinoğlu. I did not write a letter saying 'This person must be neutralized'. This letter was written 4 years before Kozinoğlu died. Also, I do not know Kozinoğlu at all, I have not reported to anyone about him. These claims were made due to digital materials that are not evidence. The obtained digital materials were manipulated. I have health problems. "I do not accept the accusations made against me."
