Statement on fund profiteering from the former AKP MP: We are astonished

While former AKP Deputy Şamil Tayyar was surprised that Pusula Portföy Chairman Muhammed Yarız (28), who was arrested within the scope of the fund investigation, started to manage billions of liras of funds in a short time, a remarkable detail emerged.

It was seen that Yarız was a member of the AKP Istanbul Youth Branch Reserve Board of Directors in 2021, hung AKP flags on the streets and decorated party buildings with banners and flags.

Şamil Tayyar said the following about Yarız, whose images emerged of him posing with the 'rabia' sign in front of the Zeytinburnu AKP District Headquarters building:

"The size of Pusula Portföy is 633 billion liras. Chairman of the Board of Directors Muhammed Yarız is 28 years old. His education is political science. Just 5 years ago, he was drinking three of them together in cafes. Suddenly he started managing funds worth billions of billions of liras. Isn't there something strange about this, for God's sake? Who is making what movies? We were surprised."

"THREE MONTHS AGO HE BOUGHT A 750 MILLION LIRA YACHT"

İYİ Party Group Deputy Chairman Turhan Çömez also included remarkable information in his post in which he announced that Yarız is a member of the AKP.

Explaining that Muhammed Yarız bought a yacht for 750 million liras just three months ago, Çömez said:

"He was a board member of the AKP Istanbul Youth Branch. He was either temporarily banned from trading or fined every year since 2020 for his "market disruptive" actions. Despite this record, he was made Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pusula Portföy. And then the great robbery began. While hundreds of billions of liras of hundreds of thousands of small investors were poured into the pockets of fund gangs through manipulations, he received one of the largest shares. The 28-year-old bright child of the AKP is the billions of liras he took away. He devoted some of it to his luxurious life. He bought one of the most luxurious yachts in the world by paying 750 million TL 3 months ago. He also added a speed boat to satisfy his taste for speed. While 5.5 million young people of this country are waiting helplessly at home, without hope of a job or a living, AKP's bright young man Muhammed Yarız and those behind him are living a luxurious, glittering and luxurious life.

Muhammed Yarız became the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pusula Portföy in 2024, despite being punished for fund manipulation. It has been claimed that Yarız, who has risen rapidly especially in the last two years, has amassed a billion-dollar fortune through small investors and purchased private yachts, jets and villas.

Following this rapid rise, Yarız was arrested and sent to prison within the scope of the fund investigation. The relationships behind the wealth that Yarız achieved in a short time and the funds he managed remained a question mark.
