Former Ilva, summit at Palazzo Chigi between government and unions

According to what we learn, the discussion began at Palazzo Chigi between the government and the trade union organizations Fim, Fiom, Uilm, Usb and Federmanager on the prospects of the former Ilva, in light of the rejection by the Court of Appeal of Milan of the requests for suspension presented by the companies in extraordinary administration Ilva and Acciaierie d'Italia.

This is the fourth meeting at Palazzo Chigi with the unions since the beginning of the year, after those of 5 March, 28 July and 8 September. Since the beginning of the legislature, however, there have been twenty meetings of the table regarding the dispute chaired by the undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council Alfredo Mantovano, in addition to discussions held with local authorities and with representatives of companies and related industries.
