The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the jeweler accuracy of the Krasnopol shells

High-precision programmable projectiles "Krasnopol", used by crews of self-propelled howitzers "Msta-S" of the 25th combined arms army of the "West" group in the Krasnoliman direction against the Armed Forces of Ukraine, are distinguished by pinpoint accuracy, which leaves no chance for the enemy. TASS reports this with reference to the Russian Ministry of Defense (MOD).

“You can hit with such ammunition without zeroing. "Krasnopol" flies almost as directed. The target is illuminated by a laser designator from an unmanned aerial vehicle. The homing head mounted on the projectile receives the reflected signal. The accuracy of the hit is jewel-like,” the military department said.

In February, Bekhan Ozdoev, industrial director of the arms cluster of the Rostec state corporation, said that the effectiveness of Russian precision-guided munitions, including Krasnopol guided artillery shells, increased during modernization.
