Watching the theater at the table is now popular! The immersive stage play "A Happy Event in a Village" produced by Wang Weizhong has been performed for four years. It is packed with guests every year and has also created a trend of eating at the stage and watching stage plays. This year, a new version of "A Happy Event in a Village: A Story of Time" will be performed in the Air Force Sanchong Village for twelve consecutive performances. It will not only include weddings, but also pay tribute to those TV series and movies that the whole people have watched, such as Bruce Lee who set off the national kung fu craze, and all the way to Chu Liuxiang, who is popular among boys and girls. It will also incorporate folk songs, classic TV series songs and Western hits, so that during the performance, not only the aroma of the dishes flowing on the table, but also the shared touch across generations will flow in the air.
As soon as these familiar golden songs were sung during the rehearsal, people such as Harry Shum, Tong Chi Wai, Luo Meiling and others were asked to sing along. This year's "A Happy Event in a Village: The Story of Time" stars Tang Zhiwei and Shum Yongkang taking turns playing the village chief, Luo Meiling playing the singing mother-in-law, Zhou Dingwei and Lu Xuerui taking turns playing the groom, and Naqi playing the bride. Together with the host Huang Yunxin, they went to the auditorium to toast table by table. Some audience members would enthusiastically take out the wine on their table and invite the actors to have a drink with them. The interaction on the spot was lively and interesting.
Luo Meiling, who plays the mother-in-law in the play, laughed and said that every time the cast walked off the stage and toasted table by table, the audience was very happy and excited! Luo Meiling said that everyone thinks that aborigines must be good at drinking, but this is not necessarily the case. She joked that there are "three lings" in the music industry: A-Lin's name sounds like "can drink" in Taiwanese, and she really knows how to drink, and even drank all the way to the Golden Melody Award Ceremony; Dai Ailing sounds like "loves drinking", and she really loves drinking; but Luo Meiling's name sounds like "袂 Drink" in Taiwanese, so she really doesn't know how to drink at all!

In addition to the stage play, "Happy Events in a Village: A Story of Time", the dishes full of military village flavor are also a highlight. The organizer invited two generations of senior chefs from the Three Gorges family to set up several super large catering pots on site.
