Non-party legislator Gao Jin Sumei's "big accountant" Zhang Junjie recently cut off his electronic bracelet and absconded. The Taipei District Prosecutor's Office continues to investigate whether there is anyone behind the scenes. After discovering that Gao Jin's assistant Chen Junwei had met with Zhang before his escape and kept his belongings on his behalf, Zhou Huankai was now traced and suspected of providing a vehicle for Zhang to use. Earlier, he was transferred for retrial on suspicion of hiding a person and damaging public property.

The prosecutors traced Zhang Junjie's communications, surveillance cameras and traffic tracks before and after his escape, and found that 36-year-old Zhou Huankai had provided a vehicle, so they identified him as involved in the case and arrested him last night. It is understood that Zhou Nan has a gang background, and the prosecutors will also further clarify whether his connections intersect with Zhang Junjie's escape route, and whether there are other people involved in meeting, hiding or providing transportation.

Zhang Junjie met Chen Junwei at a restaurant in Xindian on the morning of the 6th, and left some items with Chen for safekeeping, and left within an hour. After Chen was summoned by the prosecutor a few days ago, he was ordered to post a bail of 50,000 yuan and be restricted from residence on suspicion of concealing a criminal, damaging public property and other crimes. Now it has been found that Zhou Huankai provided a vehicle, which shows that prosecutors are gradually piecing together Zhang's contacts and movement routes before and after cutting off the electronic bracelet.

Currently, Zhang Junjie is still wanted. In addition to tracing his possible hiding place, prosecutors and police are also continuing to find out whether anyone has provided transportation, funds or other assistance in advance, so as to understand the complete escape route and possible escape network.
