Petrolina City Hall released the results of the selection for the Geraldo Azevedo Music Festival. The selected songs will be performed at Concha Acústica, from 7pm, from this Thursday (24th) until Saturday (26th).
In addition to the competition, the public will be able to watch free shows by Ana Carolina, Almério and Alice Caymmi.
A technical jury will evaluate aspects such as the quality of the lyrics, the construction of the melody and arrangements, the structure of the song, as well as the interpretation. The performance, voice power and stage presence of each participant will also be observed.
The prizes include the first three places, with values of R$ 13 thousand for first place, R$ 11 thousand for second and R$ 9 thousand for third, in addition to trophies. The best interpreter will receive a prize of R$5,500. The winners will also receive trophies signed by artisan Nivandro Félix.
