The Shuinan Transfer Center in Zhongshi has already had 9 city buses stationed there. From today, national highway passenger transportation companies such as Guoguang Passenger Transport, Tonglian Passenger Transport and Taichung Passenger Transport will be stationed. Nine national highway passenger routes passing through Zhongqing Road will stop at the Shuinan Transfer Center, connecting national highway passenger transportation, urban buses, taxis, cars, motorcycles, YouBike and MRT and other multiple transportation systems. The overall transportation service function of the transfer center is gradually in place.

The Shui-Nan Transfer Center is an important transportation construction in Taichung City and an important transportation gateway connecting cities in Central and Taiwan. The transfer center started construction on September 15, 2022, and after 1,253 calendar days, it was successfully completed and opened on August 5 this year, and was officially opened on August 6 Buses 25, 54, 82, 82 Extension, 108, 156, 354, 555, 675 and other routes will be stationed in the city every day, connecting important transportation and public construction nodes such as Lumeitu, Taichung International Convention and Exhibition Center, Taichung International Airport and High Speed Rail Taichung Station.

The Transportation Bureau pointed out that from today, there will be 1620, 1805, 1826, 1851, 1860 (only dropping off passengers), 1861, 1863, 1866 and 9010 belonging to operators such as Guoguang Passenger Transport, Tonglian Passenger Transport and Taichung Passenger Transport (Passenger drop-off only) A total of 9 national highway passenger buses passing through Zhongqing Road are stationed at Shuinan Transfer Center. People can take urban buses to the transfer center and directly transfer to national highway passenger buses to other counties and cities. On the return trip, they can also take national highway buses to the transfer center and directly transfer to urban buses to return home.

The Shui-Nan Transfer Center is adjacent to National Highway 1 and Provincial Highway 74. It has a good transportation location advantage. It has a national highway passenger transport and urban bus platform, providing parking space for 614 cars, 1,253 motorcycles and 604 bicycles. It also has dynamic information displays in the waiting space to provide complete station facilities and real-time information services.

Transportation Director Ye Zhaofu said that the arrival of national highway passenger transport symbolizes that Shuinan Transfer Center has officially entered a new stage of diversified transportation integration. It will continue to coordinate with operators and highway passenger transport companies from various countries on soft and hardware service facilities such as entry routes, ticketing services, and station equipment to improve the overall service quality of the transfer center.
