Criminal Complaint from HKP for Violent Incidents in Schools

Lawyers of the People's Liberation Party (HKP) filed a criminal complaint against the Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, the Minister of Internal Affairs Mustafa Çiftçi, provincial and district national education directors, school administrators and public officials responsible for the security of the school and its surroundings, regarding the attacks in schools in Şanlıurfa, Kahramanmaraş and Manisa.

HKP Deputy General Secretary Adnan Okur, in his statement regarding the criminal complaint, stated that schools turned into a bloodbath and that families were worried about the life safety of their children.

Okur also drew attention to the problems in the education system, arguing that violence in schools is linked to factors such as domestic violence, economic problems and children's exposure to violent environments.

"YUSUF TEKİN AND MUSTAFA ÇİFTÇİ ARE CHIEF RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE MASSACRES"

Okur noted the following:

"This medieval black order of AKP members is stealing the hopes, joys, dreams and futures of our children. First of all, the ones responsible for these disasters we are experiencing are AKP members who are working hard to imprison our country in the dark corridors of the Middle Ages.

Specific to these incidents, Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin and Minister of Internal Affairs Mustafa Çiftçi are the main responsible for these massacres due to their negligent behavior resulting from not fulfilling their legal responsibilities. "These criminal complaints we have made against those responsible for talking about the disasters that occurred in our schools, rather than the quality of education, are also a note in history."
