Hyundai recently released a new generation of Tucson, showing a rugged appearance and a new cockpit. The specifications of the South Korean debut have been announced recently. It will be equipped with a 1.6-liter turbo and a 1.6-liter turbo gasoline-electric dual power. At the same time, the transmission system and chassis tuning settings have been significantly upgraded. The new generation Hyundai Tucson provides dual power. The 1.6-liter turbo engine has been adjusted to produce 193 horsepower and 27 kilograms of torque. It is equipped with a new 8-speed manual transmission. The 1.6-liter turbo gasoline-electric engine is replaced with the newly developed TMED-II dual-motor gasoline-electric architecture and is designed with P1+P2 dual motors. The combined horsepower is 245 horsepower and the average fuel consumption is 17.4 kilometers per liter.

At the same time, the newly added P1 motor of this petrol-electric system is directly connected to the engine crankshaft, which is responsible for starting the engine, generating electricity, and providing additional power assistance when needed; the P2 motor is mainly responsible for electric drive and braking energy recovery, and also has a coasting guidance function that can actively remind the driver when to release the accelerator based on navigation and road conditions to achieve energy saving effects; it is also equipped with a Stay Mode function that allows car owners to maintain the operation of the air conditioning and in-vehicle infotainment system through the battery pack when the engine is turned off and stopped.

The new Pleos Connect vehicle system supports paged display of the screen and the "Gleo AI" in-car voice assistant developed by integrating a large language model.

The appearance of the new generation Hyundai Tucson has undergone major changes. The square body outline is combined with the three-dimensional lines on the front and rear fenders and the rear door to create a powerful vision.
