Operation against provocative posts by the Ministry of Internal Affairs

According to information received from Ministry sources, upon the instructions of the Minister of Internal Affairs Mustafa Çiftçi, the Department of Combating Cyber ​​Crimes of the General Directorate of Security launched a large-scale study against provocative posts on the internet following the school attacks in Şanlıurfa and Kahramanmaraş and the incident that took place around the school in Manisa. Following the incidents, the teams carried out cyber open source monitoring and control activities on the internet.

304 of the 3,810 people who were found to have shared provocative posts and were detained during the operations were arrested by the courts to which they were brought. A decision to block access was made to 12 thousand 141 URL addresses, including digital games that incite children to violence and Telegram channels belonging to the organization called "C31K".

33 posts regarding online meetings, press releases and march calls were identified and necessary precautions were taken.
