Response from Mustafa Sandal to the allegations about his wife Melis Sandal

Hot developments continue to occur within the scope of the "laundering of assets resulting from crime" and "opposition to the Capital Markets Law" investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

Within the scope of the investigation, asset measures were requested against a total of 106 individuals and organizations, including 46 legal entities, 18 funds and 42 real persons; It was requested to prevent large amounts of money transfers by freezing capital market instruments. Melis Sandal, wife of singer Mustafa Sandal, was among the names for which precautions were requested.

Allegations that Melis Sandal went to Dubai after withdrawing more than 11 billion TL from the funds decided to be liquidated, and that Mustafa Sandal requested a residence permit from this country, received wide coverage on social media.

"I HAVE NO INCOME OTHER THAN MUSIC FOR 32 YEARS"

Reacting to the allegations against him and the comments on social media, Mustafa Sandal published a written statement on his personal social media account. Stating that it is unfair to associate the allegations against her husband and father-in-law, Cihan Sütşurup, with her, the famous artist used the following statements in her statement:

"Associating the allegations against my wife, Melis, and her father, Cihan Sütşurup, with me is unfair and malicious. Melis and I have never had anything in common financially other than being husband and wife. I have been in the music industry for 32 years and I have no other job, occupation or income other than music."

RESPONSE TO DUBAI AND VISA CLAIMS

Sandal, who also clarified the publicly discussed Dubai and visa issues, announced that the legal process had been initiated and continued his words as follows:

"Dubai issue; Melis' son is studying in Dubai, so I have a Golden Visa - residence permit in Dubai as a spouse. The whole of Turkey already knows that I received a Global Talent Visa in England last year. My lawyer carries out the necessary legal follow-up regarding all news and comments that contain slander and insults about me."
