Fire hits at least 20 shacks in Comunidade do Verde, in São Paulo

A fire hit at least 20 shacks in the Community of Verde, where around 400 families live, in Parque Novo Mundo, Vila Maria region, North Zone of São Paulo, this Sunday morning (6).

According to initial information, no one was injured. There is still no survey on the number of displaced residents or the extent of the damage.

Fire Department teams were sent to the scene and remained fighting the flames until the last update of this report.
