Iranian Hacker Announces He Continues to Exchange Messages with the USA via Qatar

According to Iran's official news agency IRNA, Araqchi, who made a statement to the press in New York, gave information about the ongoing exchange of messages with the USA through mediators.

Stating that they met with mediator Qatari officials yesterday, Arakçi stated that ideas were exchanged on meeting Iran's conditions and that they were waiting for the final response of the USA.

Arakchi said, "Qatar will present these ideas to the United States and we hope for a response by tomorrow. I am returning to Tehran shortly, after a response is delivered, decisions will be made in Tehran." he said.

'NO TALK WAS MADE ABOUT NUCLEAR'

Rejecting the news in the international press that "Iran will make concessions on the nuclear issue", Arakchi said, "Iran's position has never changed, there has been no conversation on this issue (nuclear issue). The current discussions are about the Strait of Hormuz." he said.

Araqchi stated that the Strait of Hormuz will be opened only if the USA meets Iran's conditions.

'WE ARE READY FOR BOTH DIPLOMACY AND WAR'

Expressing the conditions of Iranian leader Mojtaba Khamenei and that the opening of the Strait of Hormuz depends on the fulfillment of these conditions, Arakchi said, "Iran's conditions are completely fair and reasonable. If the Americans claim that they are in favor of the agreement or that they are seeking a peaceful solution, we will offer that solution."

Arakchi said that, contrary to the news in some media outlets, there has been no change in his country's attitude and that the conditions offered for the opening of the Strait of Hormuz are very clear and there is no discussion about flexibility.

Reiterating that Iran is ready for both diplomacy and war, Arakchi said, "Iran is always ready for war and responds militarily to their actions. Iran has something to say and opens the way in accordance with its own logic in the field of diplomacy."
