While the phrase "3 thousand tons of warning" in the headline of the news attracted attention, it was seen that the real message extended to Türkiye between the lines.

Ynet reported that Israel's new submarine, INS Drakon, has a weight of approximately 3 thousand tons and the platform, which is approximately 70 meters long, will be equipped with advanced weapons and intelligence systems.

'ISRAEL IS WATCHING CLOSELY'

Ynet wrote that Türkiye has a strong naval fleet that it developed largely independently.

The news noted that Ankara sees the sea area as a strategic asset, and stated that the development of Türkiye's naval power did not escape the attention of the Israel Defense Forces.

While this evaluation reveals that the news that Israel introduced its new submarine is not just a weapon system promotion, it is stated in the news that "Tel Aviv is closely monitoring Türkiye's growing capacity with its domestic defense industry as the balance of naval power in the Eastern Mediterranean and its surroundings changes."
