4 new arrests in capital markets investigation in Istanbul

Investigations regarding the transactions carried out in the capital market are continuing by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Terrorism Financing and Laundering Crimes Investigation Bureau.

The proceedings of the 8 suspects, who were detained within the scope of the investigations, were completed at the judge's office, where they were taken after their interrogations at the public prosecutor's office.

The criminal judgeship of peace decided to arrest the suspects Ethem Bulut Beytorun, Gürkan Parlakaç, Özdemir Uçar and Mustafa Dedik. 6 of the 8 suspects were arrested, including Enis Bulut and Burak Gökçe, who were previously arrested.

Judicial control measures were taken against the other two suspects, Kadir Boy and Ecem Tuğçe Akçay.

In the memorandum sent by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to MASAK on September 17, it was requested to provide financial data regarding the managers of Pusula Finans Holding AŞ, Tera Yatırım Menkul Değerler AŞ, Hedef Holding AŞ and Bulls Yatırım Menkul Değerler AŞ and their subsidiaries.

It was requested that the clear identity information of all managers of the companies be determined, and that their money and crypto asset transfers abroad from 2024 until today, as well as all money inflows and outflows, be sent to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office as raw data.

In the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Terrorism Financing and Laundering Crimes Investigation Bureau, Tera Yatırım Holding Chairman of the Board Emre Tezmen, Tera Yatırım Holding Board Member Emre Alkin, Tera Yatırım Independent Board Member Kerem Alkin, Tera Portföy General Manager Alper Öztürk, Pusula Holding Chairman Serdar Turhan, Pusula Portföy Yönetimi AŞ Chairman Muhammed Yarız, Namık Kemal Gökalp, Altunç Kumova and İbrahim Bekçi were arrested.

Enver Çevik and Kemal Akkaya, who were detained, were released after their statements at the prosecutor's office.

Doğa Sigorta Board Chairman Nihat Kırmızı, Tera Yatırım Board Members Bülent Uygun and Abdulkadir Özkan, who were detained within the scope of the investigation, were also referred to the courthouse and arrested.

It was decided to arrest the suspects Furkan Baki, Murat Keçeci, Ramazan Erbey, İlhan Aygül, Salih Can Bülbül, Selçuk Kahya, Uğur Akkafa, Samet Çetinel, Celal Yarız, İsmail Ege, Mehmet Yıldırım, Lütfi Çetinel, Berkan Gülen and Mehmet Erbey, and to impose judicial control measures on 3 suspects.

Yesterday, it was decided to arrest 19 suspects who were detained within the scope of the investigation and referred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan, and to impose judicial control measures on 2 suspects.

Thus, the number of people arrested in the investigation reached 45.

6 more suspects were detained within the scope of investigations regarding transactions carried out in the capital market in Istanbul.

Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek, on his social account, regarding the capital market transactions investigations, said, "During the operations carried out so far, judicial proceedings have been carried out against a total of 76 suspects. 45 suspects have been arrested, a judicial control order has been applied against 5 suspects, and arrest proceedings have been initiated against 12 suspects. The judicial proceedings of 14 suspects in custody are continuing." He used the following expressions.
