In Maltepe, the flames rising from the grassy area quickly grew and spread to the military zone. The fire was extinguished by firefighters.

The fire occurred around 12.30 in the grassy area in Fındıklı District. Allegedly, the flames rising from the grassy area for an unknown reason grew in a short time under the influence of the wind and spread to the wooded area of ​​Kenan Evren Barracks.

Upon notice, fire brigade, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The police closed the road and took security measures in the area. Fire crews extinguished the flames.
