Warning from Meteorology: Temperatures will drop by 8 degrees

Air temperatures, which are above seasonal norms throughout the country, are expected to decrease by 4 to 8 degrees in the northern, central and western parts from the beginning of the week.

Mehmet Özdemirci, Weather Forecast Expert of the General Directorate of Meteorology of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, made evaluations about the expected weather this week to the AA correspondent.

Özdemirci stated that partly cloudy weather will prevail throughout the country in the new week, and that showers and thunderstorms are expected in some regions, and that thunderstorms are expected in the east of Marmara, the Western and Central Black Sea and the Eastern Black Sea coasts tomorrow.

Özdemirci noted that local showers will also be seen in the inner parts of the Mediterranean, especially in the Taurus Mountains.

Stating that showers are expected on the Black Sea coast, Ardahan surroundings and the inner parts of the Mediterranean on Tuesday, Özdemirci stated that the rainy areas will expand on Wednesday.

Özdemirci said that on Wednesday, there will be rain in the Central and Eastern Black Sea, the east of Central Anatolia, the inner parts of the Eastern Mediterranean, the surroundings of Isparta and Burdur and the north of Eastern Anatolia.

Stating that air temperatures are still above seasonal norms throughout the country, Özdemirci said, "We expect a 4 to 8 degree decrease in air temperatures in the northern, central and western parts from the beginning of the week." he said.

RAIN IS NOT EXPECTED IN 3 METROPOLITAN CITIES

Stating that no rain is expected tomorrow in three metropolitan cities, Özdemirci said that the weather in Istanbul will be partly cloudy and the temperature will be around 26 degrees.

Stating that the weather will be partly cloudy and the temperature will be 27 degrees tomorrow in Ankara, Özdemirci stated that in Izmir, a slightly cloudy and partly clear temperature of 31 degrees is expected.

Stating that no rain is predicted in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir on Tuesday, Özdemirci noted that the weather will be partly cloudy and slightly cloudy.

Özdemirci said that the temperature is expected to be around 26 degrees in Istanbul, 25 degrees in Ankara and 31 degrees in Izmir.

Stating that slightly cloudy weather will prevail in Istanbul and Izmir on Wednesday, Özdemirci stated that the temperature will be 26 degrees in Istanbul and 30 degrees in Izmir.

Stating that the weather in Ankara will be partly cloudy and sometimes very cloudy, Özdemirci stated that the temperature is expected to be around 25 degrees.
