The first hearing of the case in which the will prepared by Turkish cinema actor Kadir İnanır, who died on June 26, will be announced was held at Beykoz Courthouse. The hearing was postponed to December 17 because some of the heirs were not notified. After the hearing, the family's lawyer Hikmet Altunkalem and Kadir İnanır's nephew, actor Levent İnanır, made a statement in front of the courthouse. Kadir İnanır's twin nephews Hüseyin and Cevahir Önder were also present during the statement.
'WILL BE READ ON DECEMBER 17'
Speaking outside the courthouse, lawyer Hikmet Altunkalem said, "Today, a hearing was held regarding the reading of the will. In this hearing, since a few of the heirs could not be notified, the hearing was postponed to December 17, as the procedural procedures had to be completed by notifying them again. Now, the will will be read and announced on December 17. The majority of the people were notified; I cannot remember them. Notifications were made to 2-3 people." "After these notifications are completed, the will will be read to all heirs at the next hearing. Those who accept it will do so, and those who do not accept it will start the necessary legal process." he said.
'ALL ARE POSSIBLE'
In response to a question about the content of the will and the changes made, lawyer Altunkalem said, "It seems that he made two wills in 2022, the will he made in 2015, but now he may have canceled the will in 2015 with the notary regulation he made in 2022; he may have changed it or he may have prepared a new will. All of these are possible. It will be understood when read."
'THIS IS OUR PRIMARY DUTY'
Kadir İnanır's nephew, actor Levent İnanır, responded to a question about the heirs' participation in the hearing and said, "It is not for the reason of not attending the hearing. Everyone is his heir. His nephews, his orphans, they will all complete this by December 17. If necessary, we will follow up. This participation will be fully ensured on December 17. We will find the one who cannot be found; this is our primary duty. It will be our last duty for our late uncle. There are 28 heirs. Because I am very close to him." This process has been going on since 2018, because he was receiving very heavy treatment. That's why we have to wait. He had intermittent intensive care sessions. He had clots in his brain 3 times in 6 years. I swear, we don't know what it is, but we will learn its content from the judge, no matter what it is. he replied.

İnanır said, "He is changing a will he made in 2015 in 2022. He is changing it again on the same date. It is a bit confusing, but as I said, my uncle Kadir had a problem. Kadir İnanır, my dear uncle, some of my uncles, my cousins have a 68-year-old nephew here. He has a 25-year-old nephew. He has a 23-year-old nephew. Many of them are orphans, and they are people who have always been extremely loyal to their uncles. Such respect and such a culture of allegiance." "We have it. Is there no equivalent for this? I'm telling you, there is Turkish law and God's justice," he said.
