(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Kwon Ha-young = The Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) announced on the 15th that it conducted training to strengthen the capabilities of responding to security vulnerabilities using artificial intelligence (AI) for companies developing information security products at the Space Share Samsung Station Center in Seoul.

With about 50 people in attendance, including information security product developers and corporate security personnel in the information security and physical security fields, KISA introduced AI trends in the security field, safe use methods, new security threats in the AI ​​agent era, and cases of malware analysis using AI.

We also provided instructions on how to use the ‘Vulnerability Check Test Lab’ so that training participants could directly check product vulnerabilities.

The vulnerability inspection test lab is a software vulnerability inspection laboratory that KISA has been operating since last July, and supports vulnerability analysis of product source code using analysis tools such as the Frontier AI model.

Jinyoung Oh, head of KISA's Artificial Intelligence (AI) Security Industry Division, said, "As the demand for security vulnerability management is strengthening at home and abroad, such as the European Union (EU) Cyber ​​Resiliency Act (CRA), which mandates vulnerability management, the ability of companies to preemptively check and respond to vulnerabilities from the development stage is becoming important."
