Koç criticized Israel's Gaza attacks and questioned the moral credibility of the West

Speaking at the 27th Business World Summit organized by the Turkish Enterprise and Business Confederation (TÜRKONFED) in Elazığ, Koç made evaluations about Israel's attacks on Gaza and the West's approach to the region.

"Unfortunately, EUROPE DOES NOT HAVE THE SMALLEST MORAL CREDIBILITY LEFT ANYMORE"

Koç criticized the West's attitude, stating that the unconditional support of the USA, the UK and the European Union (EU) to Israel was effective in the emergence of the severe humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Emphasizing that the USA, UK and EU's unconditional support for Israel made this brutal genocide, which is a disgrace to the West, possible, Koç said, "Unfortunately, Europe no longer has the slightest moral credibility." he said.

"THERE WILL BE VERY TERRIBLE CONSEQUENCES"

Koç stated that the approach in question will not be limited to the region only and will have serious consequences that can affect the whole world, adding, "And this will have very grave consequences that affect all of us." made his assessment.

EMPHASIS ON TECHNOLOGY AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY FOR ECONOMIC RESILIENCE

Mentioning the need to strengthen economic resilience in a period of global uncertainty, Koç stated that this cannot be achieved only by increasing production capacity.

Koç also pointed out the necessity of establishing an economic structure that develops technology, designs and owns intellectual property.

Stating that the prerequisite for permanent stability is a fully functioning democracy with institutions and rules and an order dominated by the rule of law, Koç drew attention to the importance of these elements in terms of the sustainability of economic development.
