Yılmaz Tetik, one of the contractors close to the AKP, who came to the agenda with the 26-storey building he built in the earthquake zone and public tenders, was also present at the meeting of the Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, who came to Elazığ to attend the Regional Tourism Workshop. So much so that Yılmaz Tetik's joint company with his brother surprised even the Minister Kurum in recent years, and the fact that it caused a loss of 150 million liras to the state with its construction project was the subject of news.

The hotel meeting held by the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, who came to Elazığ to attend the Regional Tourism Workshop, as part of his contacts in the city, attracted attention. Ersoy; Elazığ Governor Numan Hatipoğlu met with AKP Elazığ Deputy Ejder Açıkkapı, MHP Elazığ Deputy Semih Işıkver and CHP Elazığ Deputy Gürsel Erol at the hotel owned by the contractor Yılmaz Tetik, the owner of TETİŞ Yapı, which is known for its closeness to the government.

It was noteworthy that Yılmaz Tetik was also present at the meeting. Tetik, after the devastating earthquake of 6.8 magnitude in Elazığ in 2020, the construction of a 26-storey high building on this land in the earthquake zone created a great debate in the public and political agenda. It was reported in the news that the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, was surprised to see this building during his visit to Elazığ, counted the floors with his hand and expressed his discomfort due to the height of the floors.

However, it was stated that the construction could not be stopped legally due to the "freed" rights in the zoning. Mehmet Kangal, the Elazığ Provincial Chairman of the Deva Party at the time, called on the ministry to punish those responsible, but there was no development on the issue.
