A traditional back-to-school speech for the party leader, but this annual meeting with a return to the field also looks this time like an opportunity for her to refocus the course of her campaign. Leading in the polls, this is his first real speech in a campaign disrupted by controversies and signs of tension with his right-hand man Jordan Bardella.

If on the one hand, everything is going well for the leader of the RN who is at the top of the polls, credited until recently beyond 34% in the first round, very far for the moment ahead of her main competitors from the central and left bloc Edouard Philippe (Horizons) and Jean-Luc Mélenchon (LFI), on the other hand, her campaign is becoming complicated.
Her relative discretion, although she is very present on social networks, does not make us forget that she has not made a public statement since a debate between candidates at Medef at the end of August. This left room for questions about the substance of its program while the president of the party, Jordan Bardella, seemed to qualify certain comments made by those close to the boss of the RN on the ban on the veil or even on the end of financial aid to Ukraine. A speech with a social accent?
