Meloni announces measures of the new School Decree: free books, support for families and fight against cyberbullying

"With the new School Decree we are not just dealing with integration and safety. There are various measures that concretely concern the right to study and the lives of students and their parents". Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni wrote it on Instagram.

"21 million euros for the total or partial free of charge of textbooks. 20 million euros per year for direct contributions to families, with ISEE up to 40,000 euros. We envisage more punctual planning of hours of support for pupils with disabilities and greater continuity in the transition from one school cycle to another. We invest in the fight against cyberbullying and we strengthen education courses on respect. We recognize equal dignity and value to all skills, with technical and professional institutes which take the name of high schools, and with more resources for the campuses of the supply chain. We are also continuing school building interventions, for safer and more modern schools. They are different measures, but they have a common objective: to give our children a school that can offer more tools, more opportunities and adequate training for the world that awaits them.
