Messages reveal Daniel Vorcaro's proximity to parliamentarians and Bolsonaro's allies

Messages extracted from the cell phone of Daniel Vorcaro, from Banco Master, show that the former banker, in addition to talking to the minister of the STF (Supreme Federal Court) Alexandre de Moraes, maintained contact with public figures such as senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL), candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, and federal deputies Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG) and Mario Frias (PL-SP).

Addressing the term "brother" and other similar terms, such as "big brother" and "Dani", is common in messages between the former banker and parliamentarians.

Flavio Bolsonaro

On November 16, on the eve of Daniel Vorcaro's arrest and the liquidation of Banco Master by the Central Bank, Flávio Bolsonaro sent a message to the former banker: "Brother, I am and will always be with you, there's no need for half a conversation between us. I just need you to give me some light! Abs!".

Two months earlier, the senator wrote to the owner of Banco Master to ask for money for "Dark Horse", a film about his father, the former president convicted of attempted coup d'état Jair Bolsonaro.

The messages revealed by the website The Intercept Brasil indicate closeness between the two — Vorcaro referred to Flávio as "brother" and "big brother" and was also called "brother" by the parliamentarian.

The owner of Banco Master, as shown in the Mônica Bergamo column, defined the senator as a close friend and a "very nice" person, in addition to considering that Flávio —now a candidate for the Presidency of the Republic for the PL— would be better for the country than President Lula (PT).

Nikolas Ferreira

Messages obtained by journalist Juliana Dal Piva's column in ICL Notícias show that Nikolas Ferreira asked Daniel Vorcaro to help his former cabinet advisor, Thiago Faria, and his lawyer to release "a mineral asset".

The deputy called the Master's owner "Dani" in an audio and stated that he would like to be closer to the former banker, who responded with a single-view audio. Afterwards, Nikolas thanks him and sends Thiago Faria's contact details, and Vorcaro ends by saying: "Amen, brother. We are at war together."

According to ICL, still in the voice message, the parliamentarian apologizes for publications in which he criticized an event financed by Banco Master in London and, when saying goodbye, calls Vorcaro "beautiful". "[...] Then we'll arrange a meeting too, okay? A hug, handsome."

The deputy denies having called Vorcaro “beautiful”. From the audio released by ICL, it is not clear whether the deputy said goodbye to the then banker as "Dani" or "beautiful".

Mario Frias

Federal deputy Mario Frias (PL-SP) sent an audio to Daniel Vorcaro to thank him for his support in the production of the film "Dark Horse", about Jair Bolsonaro, in December 2024, according to messages revealed by The Intercept Brasil.

"Just thank you, my brother. We're going to touch the hearts of a lot of people and it's going to be very important for our country, okay? I need to tell you from time to time how things are going, okay?", says the deputy.

The deputy, who was special secretary for Culture in the Bolsonaro government, is the film's executive producer. After the revelation that Flávio Bolsonaro asked the owner of Master for money for the film, Frias said that there was not "a single cent" from the former banker in the production. The next day, he backed down and said that there was "a difference of interpretation regarding the formal origin" of the investment.

Ciro Soares

Lawyer Ciro Soares, responsible for the dialogue between the Attorney General of the Republic, Paulo Gonet, and Daniel Vorcaro, wrote to the former banker in April 2024: "Friendship is everything, see brother." The message appears in a Federal Police report based on messages extracted from the Master's owner's cell phone. At the time, the lawyer added: "Gonet is firm."

Initially, they dealt with issues related to Jarbas Soares Júnior, former attorney general of Minas Gerais. The following year, Ciro and Vorcaro talked about organizing an event that would take place in London with funding from Master, to which Gonet's son, Pedro, would go with his expenses paid by the bank.

Steve Lopes

Daniel Vorcaro was also called "brother" by former model Stheve Lopes, who helped the Master's owner gather models for the parties he promoted for authorities. The messages obtained by the PF show conversations between the two from 2023 to 2025 — in most of them, Lopes sends photos of women for Vorcaro to evaluate.

As Folha showed, Lopes sought out the former banker and asked if there was "any work for the next few days" in May 2025, a month after the Public Ministry of the Federal District opened an investigation to investigate the acquisition of Master by BRB (Banco de Brasília).

With no response, days later, Lopes insisted: "Speak, Brother, if any operation needs to be carried out, let me know, I'll organize it. I'm a bit idle these days. Monotonous life as a father. But I need work."
