The neighborhoods of Doron, Boca do Rio and the Estrada Velha region in Salvador will have new bus lines starting on Saturday (5). According to information from the Mobility Secretariat (Semob), two lines will be created with the aim of expanding public transport services in the regions.
The 1164 – Doron x Centro de Convenções will run from the neighborhood to the Boca do Rio region. The line will make 31 trips on weekdays, starting from 5:30 am to 11:05 pm. On Saturdays, there will be 18 trips, from 00:00 to 22:00, and 16 on Sundays, from 6:30 to 21:00.
The route will be as follows:
➡️ In the direction of Boca do Rio, the line will leave R. Cidália Menezes and follow R. Cledenor Soares, R. Eugênio Ribeiro, Av. Edgard Santos, Av. Luís Viana Filho (Paralela), Rua das Araras, Av. Jorge Amado, R. Alberto Fiuza, R. Padre Casemiro Quiroga, R. das Gaivotas, R. Jaime Sapolink (Marback), R. Prof. Pinto de Aguiar, R. Lúcio Manoel da Hora, R. Hélio Machado, R. Antônio da Silva Coelho, R. Simões Filho, R. Abelardo Andrade de Carvalho, Tv. Rio das Pedras, R. Rio das Pedras and Av. Octávio Mangabeira.
➡️When returning to Doron, the itinerary will be along Av. Simon Bolívar, R. Antônio da Silva Coelho, R. Simões Filho, R. Abelardo Andrade de Carvalho, R. Prof. Pinto de Aguiar, R. Jayme Sapolink, R. das Araras, Av. Jorge Amado, R. Alberto Fiúza, Rua Adhemar Pinheiro Lemos, R. Padre Casemiro Quiroga, Viaduto de Narandiba, Av. Edgard Santos, R. Eugênio Ribeiro and R. Cidália Menezes.
In the Estrada Velha region, the derivative line 1425-02 - Cond. Dois de Julho x Metrô Flamboyant (Circular). The bus route will pass through the Trobogy neighborhood, with alternatives to Avenida Paralela and the Salvador metro system. This line will make three trips on working days, departing from Condomínio Dois de Julho.
The itinerary will be:
➡️ Leaving Av. Aliomar Baleeiro (Cond. 2 de Julho), and will pass through Rua do Mocambo, Rua Aymoré Moreira, Av. Luis Viana (Paralela), arriving at Tamburugy Metro station.
➡️ The return to the neighborhood will be express, without stopping at points.
BRT will have a new line between Lapa and Patamares
A new BRT line will connect Lapa to the Patamares neighborhood, starting on Wednesday (9), in Salvador. The news was announced this Friday (4) by the Mobility Secretariat (Semob).
Initially, according to the folder, line B6 will be in assisted operation, from 9 am to 4 pm, with an average interval of ten minutes.
Along the route, public transport will combine sections in exclusive corridors with segments in mixed traffic, as well as lines B2, which leaves from the Shopping da Bahia station and goes to Amaralina, and line B3, which accesses Avenida Paulo VI via Caminho das Árvores.

The itinerary will start at Lapa Station, following Vasco da Gama, Juracy Magalhães and ACM avenues. via the exclusive BRT route to Pituba station.
Then, according to Semob, the buses access Rua Rio Grande do Sul and continue in mixed traffic along Avenida Octávio Mangabeira (waterfront) until the beginning of Avenida Pinto de Aguiar, where they turn around in front of Avenida Ibirapitanga.
On the way back along Orla, the line follows Octávio Mangabeira and Manoel Dias da Silva avenues, as well as Rua Pernambuco, in mixed traffic. They then access Pituba Station and travel along the exclusive BRT corridor until returning to Lapa Station.
During the assisted operation phase, the department will monitor the performance of the service to evaluate operational indicators, passenger demand and make any adjustments before starting full operation.
