Rio's trains and subway will operate 24 hours a day during Rock in Rio

Rio's urban trains and the MetrôRio concessionaire will operate 24 hours a day, with special programming to facilitate the journey to and from home for passengers who will participate in the opening of Rock in Rio, which begins this Friday (4).

The Department of Transport and Urban Mobility (Setram) advises passengers going to Rock in Rio to plan their journeys in advance. During the days of the festival, which will be held between the 4th and 7th of September and, in the second phase, from the 11th to the 13th of this month

Trains

For the first time, Central do Brasil, Madureira and Deodoro stations will be open throughout the night, with extra trips every hour. The purpose is to facilitate integration with the metro system (Central do Brasil) and BRT (Deodoro and Madureira) that serve the city's residents and visitors.

There will be extra trains available for the return of the event, with departures from Deodoro to Central and from Central do Brasil to Santa Cruz, Japeri, Saracuruna and Belford Roxo. Trips will run every hour during the early hours of the morning.

Justice

The Rio Court of Justice will be present on every day of Rock in Rio to guarantee access to justice and ensure the rights of the public. The expectation is that around 100 thousand people pass through Cidade do Rock daily.

The Special Court for Fans and Major Events will operate throughout the festival, offering assistance to the public for situations such as cell phone theft, problems related to tickets, conflicts with the event organization, consumer issues and cases of violence.

The service station will be located at Arena Carioca 1, next to other public bodies, and will operate from 2pm until the end of the day's activities. The space will also have a reception area for victims of gender-based violence.

In cases of arrest in the act, custody hearings will be held at the court station itself. The team will have two judges on a daily basis, one on each shift, in addition to a coordinating judge.
