According to the Sumaré Municipal Guard, teams received information that two men in a small white vehicle had stolen goods, money and cell phones from a pharmacy in the region.

During the searches, the guards were informed about the location of one of the stolen devices, which pointed to a residence on Rua José Ednei Barijan.

Upon arriving at the scene, the guards found a white Volkswagen Gol parked. Three occupants of the vehicle tried to flee when they noticed the vehicle approaching, but were approached. According to the corporation, the suspects presented contradictory versions of what they were doing there and reported being residents of Osasco.

Continuing with the investigations, the guards entered a residence located at the number indicated by cell phone tracking, where they found five other people.

The products stolen from the pharmacy were seized at the property, in addition to R$3,156 in cash, three cell phones, a notebook, a watch and two simulacra firearms that, according to the Municipal Guard, would have been used in the robbery.

Three vehicles were also seized. According to the initial investigation, one of them would have been used in the robbery and the other two would have been used to transport the products to Osasco.

The pharmacy representative attended the Police Station, recognized the perpetrators of the crime and recovered the goods and money stolen from the cash register.

Of the eight taken to the police station, one was interviewed and released, a teenager was apprehended and six remained in custody for the crimes of robbery, criminal association and corruption of minors. The case remains under investigation by the Civil Police.
