Statements from Ömer Çelik about the fund investigation and Fatma Betül Kaya

AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik made a statement regarding the fund investigations. Çelik said, "All these issues will be addressed based on our President's principle of 'Whoever does wrong will be held accountable'. All supervisory boards are on duty. There is no compromise in protecting the trust of the nation. We will not hesitate to do whatever is necessary."

In his statement, Çelik said, "We are meticulously evaluating the situations of those negatively affected, studies will be carried out by the relevant institutions. Then, a road map will undoubtedly be shared. There is no systemic risk in the Turkish economy. Those responsible will be held accountable. At the same time, we have initiated efforts to take all measures to prevent this from happening again." He stated:

Çelik also said, "Fatma Betül Hanım requested to be pardoned from her membership in MYK and MKYK. This was accepted by our President. Fatma Betül Hanım is not currently a member of our MYK and MKYK." he said.
