Wet'n Wild Park opens 'KOBRA' water roller coaster in October

Almost 29 meters high and 256 meters long, the water park opens a new attraction in October

'KOBRA' will undergo tests before opening to confirm the speed and travel time of the attraction, which is located in Itupeva (SP).

The Wet'n Wild park, in Itupeva (SP), will open the water roller coaster "KOBRA" in October. The attraction will be almost 29 meters tall.

The first "plug-in" attraction in Brazil, the toy is in the final stages of construction. Tests should take place in September.

The toy uses water propulsion for ascents and descents. The route has the "RIFT", an arc that makes movements at angles close to 90 degrees.

Almost 29 meters high, 256 meters long and 140 thousand liters of water. These are the dimensions of "KOBRA", the new water roller coaster that will open in October at the Wet'n Wild park.

According to the park, located at kilometer 72 of Rodovia dos Bandeirantes, in Itupeva (SP), "KOBRA" is the first "plug-in" attraction in Brazil, featuring an automation system and reservoirs in imported containers ready for installation.

Wet'n Wild also highlights the theme of the attraction, which simulates the body of a snake, and a technology that brought a different texture to the roller coaster to Brazil.

The attraction is in the final stages of construction and should undergo testing in September. The speed and time of the route will only be confirmed after this period.

According to Alain Baldacci, CEO of the park, the combination of water and propulsion allows the attraction to create a different route than other traditional water slides.

"The propulsion of the water causes the buoy to advance through uphill sections, creating a dynamic sequence of drops and curves along the route, which also includes changes in direction and open and closed sections with special effects", he explains.

Looping and adrenaline

Another feature of the water roller coaster is the adrenaline provided by the "RIFT", an arc similar to a loop that causes a back and forth movement at angles close to 90 degrees.

"We are bringing to Brazil an attraction that combines innovation, technology and a lot of adrenaline.
