Peskov evaluated the visits of US representatives to Moscow and Kyiv

Peskov made statements to journalists in the capital Moscow on current issues.

Evaluating the contacts of US President Donald Trump's special representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in Moscow and Kiev, Peskov said, "Undoubtedly, any initiative, more or less effective, is a small step towards peace. In this context, we really value the efforts of American negotiators to achieve peace." he said.

Stating that the Russian side was not informed about the results of the American representatives' contacts in Ukraine, Peskov said that a telephone conversation could be held between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump on this issue.

Regarding the possibility of resuming negotiations between the USA, Russia and Ukraine to resolve the crisis, Dmitry Peskov said, "We do not exclude the possibility of resuming negotiations in the tripartite format, but it is too early to talk about the place and dates of negotiations." he said.

Peskov left unanswered the question about "to what extent the proposals of the US negotiators differ from those of the Anchorage summit and whether there are controversial issues in the new proposals."

Evaluating Norway's plans to deploy an artillery battalion to the Russian border, Peskov emphasized that this is against Russia and threatens security.

Spokesperson Peskov stated that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will visit Russia soon.
