Quaest survey shows reduction of 8 percentage points in electoral indecision for governor in Ceará

Spontaneous research is one in which the candidates' names are not presented to voters, that is, when the researcher asks, the candidate's name is mentioned by the voter himself. They answered the following question: "Have you already chosen who you will vote for governor? If so, who?"

In the last Quaest survey released by TV Verdes Mares, on September 4, the number of undecided voters was 53%. Therefore, there was a drop of 8 points between the survey at the beginning of the month and the Quaest released this Wednesday (23) - the fluctuation is greater than the survey's margin of error, plus or minus 3 percentage points.

In 2026, each state must elect two electors. Therefore, each voter must vote for two different candidates. In Quaest's spontaneous survey, 65% of voters appear undecided, because they were unable to name a candidate.

Quaest interviewed 900 people aged 16 and over between the 19th and 22nd of September. The margin of error is 3 percentage points, plus or minus, and the confidence level is 95%. The TSE registration number is CE-08268/2026.
