Military police officer is investigated after touching a woman in Cariacica

A military police officer is being investigated for touching a woman's private parts in the early hours of Sunday (13), in Cariacica, Greater Vitória. In a video circulating on social media, it is possible to see the moment the agent touches the woman's body.

In the images, the soldier extends his arm outside the vehicle and passes his hand under the woman's clothes. The woman then retreats and, moments later, leans on the vehicle window to talk to the police officer.

The Military Police reported that it had initiated the necessary measures to clarify the circumstances recorded in the images and the actions of the military police officers.

According to the corporation, the audiovisual material is being analyzed and additional information is being collected to assist in investigating the facts.

In a statement, the PM also stated that "the actions of its members must comply with legislation, human rights and the principles that govern military police activity. If any irregularity is found, the appropriate administrative and disciplinary measures will be adopted."

“The Institution reaffirms its commitment to legality, transparency and the adequate investigation of facts”, concluded the note.

g1 asked the Military Police whether the agent in question had been identified, what measures could be adopted and whether any police officer had been removed from the streets due to this investigation, but there was no response until the publication of this report.
