City Hall approves law guaranteeing benefits of R$1,650 to families affected by fire in Santana

Law was sanctioned this Thursday (10). So far, 31 families are registered to receive the aid. The fire destroyed wooden houses in Baixada do Ambrósio, on August 24.

Santana City Hall sanctioned this Thursday (10) the law that guarantees aid of R$ 1,650 per month for families affected by fire. Currently, 31 families are eligible.

The beneficiaries are sheltered in relatives' homes and receive support from the city hall. The date of the first monthly payment has not yet been announced by the municipality.

The fire occurred on August 24, destroying up to 20 houses in Baixada do Ambrósio. Experts suspect that an electrical fault started the flames.
