Romeu Zema, from Novo, fulfills an agenda in São Paulo with a focus on female participation and combating violence

Candidate Romeu Zema, from Novo, completed his schedule in São Paulo.

Romeu Zema's first appointment was an interview with a radio and TV network, in the central region of São Paulo. He then participated in a meeting with women in the committee of candidate for federal deputy Adriana Ventura, also from the Novo party. Zema defended greater female participation in public life and stated that, if elected, he will toughen sentences for female attackers:

"Have special monitoring by the courts, by the police authorities. If possible, everyone must wear electronic ankle bracelets, until they have identification on their identity document that they are an aggressor."

After meeting with the women, Zema met with the campaign team to prepare for interviews and hearings in the coming days. In the evening, the candidate was interviewed in an online magazine program.
