Russian Minister of Agriculture Lut: Our agricultural trade with Türkiye reached 6 billion dollars last year

Russian Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut stated that the trade volume of agricultural products between Türkiye and Russia was approximately 6 billion dollars last year and said, "Türkiye and Russia complement each other in agriculture." he said.

Lut answered the questions of an AA correspondent within the scope of the "2nd International Veterinary Safety Forum" held in Moscow.

Stating that the trade in agricultural products between the two countries is stable, Lut said that Russia's exports to Türkiye are slightly more than Türkiye's exports to Russia.

Pointing out that countries sell different product groups to each other, Lut said, "Turkey and Russia complement each other in agriculture. We mainly send grain, oilseed and oil products to Türkiye. We mainly buy fruits and vegetables from Türkiye." he said.

Describing Turkish partners as "stable partners of Russia", Lut said, "We hope that the current difficult situation will not prevent us from continuing our work, trade and of course our friendship." he said.
