Betül Arık, who was stabbed by her husband in Sakarya, lost her life

The incident in Sakarya took place on Saturday, September 5, in Yağcılar District of Akyazı district. Betül Arık (50), a mother of 6 children, was allegedly stabbed by her husband Ömür Arık (50) after an argument.

According to the news in DHA, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notice of the surrounding people. Arık, whose first aid was given at the scene, was taken to Akyazı State Hospital.

Arık, who was in serious condition after his intervention here, was referred to Sakarya Training and Research Hospital and received treatment. Ömür Arık, who escaped after the incident, was caught and detained as a result of the work of the gendarmerie teams.

Ömür Arık, who was referred to the courthouse after his procedures at the gendarmerie, was arrested in the court and sent to prison.

Betül Arık, who was treated in the hospital for 23 days, died despite all the interventions. Arık's funeral was brought to Akyazı Yağcılar District Mosque today.

After the funeral prayer performed after the afternoon prayer, Betül Arık was buried in the family cemetery among prayers and tears.
