Science4All: the University of Padua brings science to the city with events in September and November 2026

Science leaves the laboratories and meets the public in Padua with Science4All, the scientific communication project promoted by the University of Padua and aimed at citizens and schools. The aim is to talk about the research in a simple, accessible and fun way, through experiences designed to involve people of all ages.

The appointment with the program dedicated to citizenship is from 25 to 27 September 2026. The event will then return in autumn with activities aimed at schools, scheduled from Monday 9 to Friday 20 November.

What is Science4All

Science4All was born from the merger of two initiatives of the University of Padua: Venetonight, the researchers' night, and Kids University Padua. The project develops in the months of September and November and brings researchers into direct contact with the public.

The principle behind the initiative is to make science an understandable and engaging language. To do this, the program offers interactive activities and meeting opportunities in which to discover research through direct experience.

The program: experiments, games and laboratories

During the days of the event it will be possible to participate in scientific demonstrations, experiments, games, quizzes and workshops, as well as take part in guided tours. The activities are designed to bring the public closer to different scientific disciplines and themes, with a popular approach that is accessible to everyone.

The program therefore focuses on participation: not just listening to science, but seeing it, experimenting with it and putting yourself to the test together with those who work in research every day.

Science4All for schools

After the September event dedicated to citizenship, Science4All will continue with a specific calendar for schools. The activities are scheduled from 9 to 20 November 2026 and will be designed to involve students in journeys of discovery through experiments, laboratories and other interactive experiences.

The initiative of the University of Padua thus aims to create a bridge between the world of research and the community, bringing science out of academic spaces and making it a shared experience.
