Subaru launches WRX GD25 and BRZ ZC15 limited edition special models to celebrate the 25th and 15th anniversaries of US production

Subaru released two new special models, the WRX GD25 and BRZ ZC15, at the recently held Boxerest 2026 event. To celebrate the 25th and 15th anniversaries of the performance duo's debut in the United States, respectively, they have further enhanced their dynamic momentum through equipment upgrades. They will be sold in limited quantities and are expected to be delivered in the summer of 2027.

The WRX GD25, which is limited to 350 units, adopts the special car name to pay tribute to the representative of the first-generation American-standard "GD" chassis that landed in the United States in 2002. The exterior is finished in classic "World Rally Blue" with gold 19-inch aluminum wheels, gold Brembo brake calipers and Bridgestone Potenza S007 running tires. The rear of the car is also equipped with an STI dry carbon fiber gooseneck rear wing, whose specifications are exactly the same as the ARA25L car used by the famous driver Travis Pastrana in the ARA rally.

The large spoiler behind the WRX GD25 is quite eye-catching.

The interior of the car is highlighted with Recaro racing seats with red stitching and an exclusive STI gear shifter. Power remains a 2.4-liter horizontally opposed turbo gasoline engine with a maximum output of 271 horsepower. It comes standard with a full-time four-wheel drive system and a six-speed manual transmission equipped with STI short-throw quick transmission.

The BRZ ZC15, which is limited to 300 units, pays tribute to the first generation code-named "ZC" chassis in 2012. The exterior adopts exclusive "Ceramic White" (Ceramic White), with matte bronze wheels and gold Brembo calipers. The color scheme pays tribute to the 2020 BRZ tS.

The BRZ ZC15 has a quota of just 300 units.

Enhance the dynamic momentum through exclusive equipment.

The cabin is equipped with Bordeaux red leather interior trim, STI short-stroke gear lever and "ZC15" exclusive nameplate, highlighting its unique and special identity. It is powered by a 2.4-liter horizontally opposed naturally aspirated gasoline engine that can output 228 maximum horsepower. It is purely rear-wheel drive and only offers a six-speed manual transmission. It is equipped with an exclusive V-shaped tie rod in the engine room to improve the rigidity of the car body.
