This afternoon the Flying Squad listened for about two hours to a witness whose identity is kept confidential. Yesterday, Gianni Di Vita, father and husband of Sara and Antonella Di Ielsi, who died from ricin poisoning last December, was subjected to interrogation at the Campobasso police station three times in one day. De Vita's studies and home were also searched. In this phase, in particular, the investigative activity of the Larino Prosecutor's Office focused on the electronic devices of the accountant who in any case is not under investigation.

This afternoon a new interrogation took place at the police station in Campobasso. The Flying Squad listened for about two hours to a person whose identity is kept confidential. The person was made to enter and exit the police offices, avoiding the main entrance, where journalists and television operators were present. Other interrogations are also expected in the coming days.

In addition to the frenetic activity of investigations and searches in the last few hours, Di Vita also decided, on his own initiative, to hand over an electronic device, a USB stick and two computers, given to investigators to make copies of everything found inside. "The moment will come when we will have something to say", said the man who said he was "very calm" when speaking to the press. "The judiciary - declared Di Vita's lawyer, Vittorino Facciolla - wanted to follow up on the search for evidence through searches of some rooms and properties available to the entire Di Vita family and not just Gianni". The aim, added the lawyer, "is to ascertain through the search a series of activities that Antonella, Sara, Gianni or Alice could have carried out".
